Elsa Hosk’s Denim on Denim Outfit

I must say, I love the way Elsa Hosk styles her denim on denim outfits. They are simple, clean and elegant – and easy for just about anyone to replicate. See how the model and Victoria’s Secret Angel wears double denim.

The above outfit is an easy to follow outfit style – a chambray shirt and light wash jeans are paired with a neutral color coat and boots, white t-shirt and a print handbag. The following denim on denim outfit is the same basic styling scheme. This time the double denim look is comprised of a denim jacket in a mid-wash and a lighter wash jean paired with a neutral sweater, black and neutral-tone boots and a handbag in a  neutral and black print. Bonus! –  the shearing texture on the denim jacket helps break up the “block of denim” in a denim on denim outfit.

A  look that is similar to a denim on denim look is an overalls denim outfit.
I like the minimalist way she styles this look. Clean and simple – a white t-shirt, nude sandals and cross-body bag in a complimentary print.

Similarly, she didn’t get fussy with accessories or busy prints to accompany this denim coat. She wore a sleek pulled-back hair style that helped make this a “pulled together” look . The over-the-knee boots are a great counterbalance to the denim coat. The two bold pieces of her outfit balance and work well together.

The model flawlessly wears denim on denim both on the job and in her life off the clock. Distressing and fading on the denim jacket and jeans help make this double denim outfit work in this ad for Mavi  Jeans.

The  mineral wash denim bottom and darker mid-wash denim jacket keep this outfit on the cover of Issue magazine from looking too matchy-matchy.
