Checkered Jeans & Plaid Jeans in 12 Dazzling Styles

Checkered jeans and plaid jeans are a way to change up the usual light wash, mid wash or dark wash jeans we usually wear. Selena Gomez was spotted dining at Tom Tom restaurant in Los Angeles, CA  and wearing Louis Vuitton Straight Cut Denim Pants in a checkerboard pattern denim for the occasion.

She has often worn and is a fan of RE/DONE Jeans and Levi’s Jeans.  She also has previously worn another style of Louis Vuitton Straight Cut Denim Pants in stonewashed denim, but this time opted for a version of the jeans with a checkerboard pattern. She decided to switch things up and don a pair of Louis Vuitton Straight Cut Denim Pants checkered jeans. You can just see the top part of the jeans in the photo of Selena Gomez with a fan at Tom Tom restaurant.

Samara Weaver is another celebrity fan of the checkered jeans by Louis Vuitton. The outfit she wore to a Louis Vuitton show during Paris Fashion Week was featured in a previous post about casual jean outfits. As I mentioned in that post, the jeans she’s wearing are in a Louis Vuitton Damier print. The name of the brand’s iconic print, Damier, translates from the French to “checkerboard” in English.
